Albuquerque, NM store

The Penfield Company began in the 1880's as a general mercantile company in Lincoln County, NM, the home of Billy the Kid. The store served as a trade center with people coming from all parts of the state to trade in everything from farm supplies to Indian rugs.

The original store has since been made into a state museum but the Penfield tradition has continued since 1975 at their store in Albuquerque's Old Town where the finest available Indian arts and crafts are sold. The Penfield family are all knowledgeable collectors themselves and take great care in selecting the items shown. The pieces presented online are representative of the many outstanding works the Penfield Gallery has to offer.

We invite you to browse through our online display. Orders may be placed by email or telephone. If you are in the Albuquerque area, we invite you to visit our gallery on South Plaza in Old Town.

For your convenience, a guide to accomodations near the Penfield Gallery is available.
