Irene & Ken White

NAVAJO POTTERS

Ken and Irene White | Navajo Pottery | Penfield Gallery of Indian Arts | Albuquerque, New Mexico Irene & Ken White are noted Navajo potters from the Four Corners area in Arizona. Ken and Irene work together to form and create traditionally made Navajo pottery that has a more contemporary look with designs of fetish bears, bear paws, hogans, kiva steps, the sacred corn plant, and the Ye'ii figures. Irene and Ken have led the way in making more contemporary Navajo pottery that include other Navajo potters like Ben Yazzie and Nancy Chilly.
