Eugene Baatsoslanii Joe is a well known Navajo sandpainter. Eugene's contemporary sandpaintings are well designed, very intricate and beautiful. Eugene includes sand designs of pottery with turquoise pieces of adornment, weavings, and fetish bears. He is from the Shiprock, NM area where many of the most talented sandpainters come from and live. Eugene has co-authored books on Navajo sandpaintings. | ||
