		MIChael Watchman is a member of the accomplished Watchman family of Navajo sandpainters from Shiprock, New Mexico in the Four Corners area on the Navajo Reservation. Michael and his family members are known for their pictorial and contemporary Navajo sandpaintings, showing beautiful Navajo pottery, kachina dolls, bear fetishes and the Navajo landscape.
