Lupe Lucero

Lupe Lucero | Jemez Pueblo Storyteller Artist | Penfield Gallery of Indian Arts Lupe Lucero was born in 1943, and was taught by her sister Dorothy Trujillo (d) who lived at Cochiti Pueblo. Lupe makes traditional Koshare storytellers. Lupe like her sisters, including Alma Concha and Fannie Loretto, uses native Jemez clay and natural pigments. She has won awards at various venues, including the New Mexico State Fair for her work.
