Alvin Curran was a talented and skilled potter from Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, formerly San Juan Pueblo. Alvin's death a few years ago was a blow to the native artistic community in New Mexico. Alvin's gorgeous designs and beautiful carvings and use of traditional colors on his pottery was a treat to the eye and the soul. Alvin is dearly missed by many. | ||
